Sand Stone Contractors, Engineers & Developers, LLC approach to working with our clients has been shaped by the experience of the key personnel as Project Managers for project owners. Our approach is that of a partnership; we do not take an adversarial approach. Sand Stone Contractors, Engineers & Developers treat each project as an opportunity to become part of an overall team to achieve the owner’s objectives.
This attitude is carried right through the project. We understand that our clients have financial and schedule targets to meet and we will work with the designers and the developer to achieve those targets.
The key to our company’s success is based on supporting our client’s projects, including:- keeping our clients informed of any cost or time impacts so those issues into account in planning,
- providing up to date schedule and cost reporting to our clients,
- controlling and managing change orders throughout the project, without allowing them to build up,
- doing it right, doing it once.
If the bid for a project overruns the client’s budget, we assist in Value Engineering the cost while maintaining the functional requirements of the project. We have a long record in Florida and elsewhere of successfully bringing projects in on time, and on budget.
We have established procedures for monitoring quality, including a “hold point” system which requires our subcontractors to satisfy quality checks before they continue beyond certain defined points.
We support the project site team with regular and detailed site inspections, in which the progress of the job is reviewed and any contentious issues are resolved.
